Dr Boyce has been successful on 17 occasions since 1990 in competitive grant and award schemes. The grants include two prestigious research fellowships. She has earned over $7.8 million dollars (cash & in-kind) from sources such as:
- Australian Research Council (Discovery Grants Scheme);
- Australian Research Council (Research Fellowship Scheme);
- Australian Research Council (Linkage Grants Scheme);
- Australian Research Council ( Small Grant Scheme);
- Commonwealth Department of Health & Family Services (RHSET Program);
- National Prescribing Service Teaching Development Fund;
- University of Queensland, Postdoctoral Research Fellowship;
- University of Queensland Teaching & Learning Fellowship (Health Sciences Faculty); and
- The University of Queensland, Early Career Researcher Grant.
